1st Skene Girls’ Brigade

In 2012 1st Skene Girls’ Brigade completed all sections of their badgework for the year, we entered divisional competitions and attended the Annual Music Hall Display.  They also fundraised in order to buy Company and Queens Colours which cost over £1,000 and means a lot to the whole Company and the Church.  They also had girls represent our company in an Olympic Challenge Day at the Beach Ballroom.

We have around 25 girls at present, 12 being in the age-group 5-8 which is great as this is our life blood.

We also took the girls to the Inverurie Panto, along with Deaconess Marion Stewart and Rev Stella Campbell, where we all had a super time and got into the Christmas spirit.
