The Action Group
Skene Parish Church Action Group, with a committee of around 20 people, organise events for the over 65’s within our church membership.
At present, we have the responsibility of organising a monthly Church service for those who are unable to attend on a Sunday. These are held on the first Wednesday of most months and have proved to be very successful with an average attendance of around 40. Tea and “a fine piece” round off the afternoon with an opportunity to chat to friends old and new.
The Action Group hosts two evenings for this age group in March where entertainment and refreshments are provided.
Funds are raised through 2 Coffee Mornings/ Afternoons in April at Trinity and in November at the Milne Hall.
